FELL PRIDE EVENING PARTY TAKES OVER BAR POIS KOTOO!

Fell Pride is a colorful, cheerful and open cultural event for all people and a demonstration for equality and human rights, organized at the foot of Finland's most popular ski resort Levi. Fell Pride wants to highlight minority cultures and spark discussion about the status of sexual and gender minorities in northern Finland and in the region's small village communities, as well as among internationally popular destinations. We want to do our part to ensure that everyone in Fell-Lapland, both as a villager and as a visitor, feels safe and welcome. ​ Fell Pride will now be organized for the third time, this time when the spring sun warms the sides of the fell, on April 26, 2025. ​Springtime Levi offers a great setting for this colorful event. The joyful atmosphere and relaxed atmosphere of the fell ensure that everyone can feel welcome - just as they are. Welcome to march and celebrate with us for human rights and equality. For each of us to be able to live and express ourselves freely, bravely and safely.

In the evening, the colors and expressions of the rainbow will take over Bar Pois Kotoo, where the evening party will be held. The evening party is for adults only and this year the stage will feature Kas Kan, who creates a painterly atmosphere with modular synths, the amazing electro-folk duo Junna from Oulu, representing the cutting edge of folk music, and the rainbow Sámi DJ Hulluella!

The Safer Space principles are in place during the events. We respect and support each other during the event. 

1. Be open. Approach new topics and people without prejudice, take every issue and situation you encounter as an opportunity to learn something new and develop. 

2. Respect. Give others space, pay attention to your choice of words and remember the diversity of event participants. 

3. Don't assume. Respect everyone's right to self-determination and don't make assumptions about others' gender, background or family relationships, for example. 

4. Don't intervene. If you witness harassment or other inappropriate treatment, don't remain a bystander. 

5. Encourage. Take responsibility for the experience of other participants as well. Listen and encourage. 

6. Relax. Making mistakes and asking questions is allowed.
